| Only a week to go and I'll be under the knife. Blah. It's okay, I'll get good drugs!!!
My parents went to Colorado w/out me. Argh! PARTY AT THE 'RENTS HOUSE!!
I'm a little bummed that Will Clark and John Wetteland fell short of joining the list at Cooperstown. But my distain was quickly absolved at the rumor that Roger Clemens could pitch for us in 2006. Wow, like the Rangers need any more drama. Let's add a psycho to the roster!! Plus, he's no spring chicken, the guy's old. That's all there is to it. However if you'll remember, Nolan Ryan was signed at the tail end of his career, so that a promising comparison. Plus he would cost us major moolah.
I gotta work now. | | |
| Ugh, I feel like crap. Stomach junk. Plus a blocked tear duct in my eye, ouch.
Well Zach, it's your last day here at our wonderful place of employment. I would like to take this opportunity to say that I'm so glad we became friends. I hope school goes well for you and you enjoy every minute of your non-working life. It won't last long! You are totally awesome and I know you'll kick ass at whatever you do! You Rock! Love ya!
| Wow, New Years was boring. Sitting on the couch watching the Law & Order marathon. That part wasn't boring, but everything else was. Oh well.
My New Years Resolutions are as follows:
quit smoking
get to the gym more often
change my life to where I am happy in it, however that may be, I'm gonna be selfish for once
let people know more often that I love them
I think I'll have my hands full with that.
Props are in order for John Wetteland! After his impressive 12 year pitching career, he is finally on the ballot to be added to the awe inspiring list at Cooperstown, after he was inducted in to the Rangers Hall of Fame last August. Almost half of his career saves (330 total) were recorded with Texas. He finished his tenure with Texas at a 2.95 ERA in 248 appearances. Way to go John!

| Well, my Christmas kicked-ass; except for the being sick part. Anyhow, on to more important matters...the Rangers.
We have sealed the deal with Kevin Millwood... a 5 year $60 million deal to be exact. This is good..his lifetime stats are 107-75 with a 3.76 ERA. I have gut feeling that the Rangers are seriously going to kick ass this year!!!
| Holy Testicle Tuesday!!!!!???? (you know who said that). The Rangers and Padres have done a 6 player deal; Adam Eaton is set to be in our starting rotation...For the first time in many seasons, our pitching is looking good! Say it with me...AAAHHHHHHHHH. With our other recent acquisitions, this is going to be a great season!
Holy crap...is it payday yet????
To you who is leaving work: YOU SUCK (but I still love you)
